On the eve of the 2019 London Marathon, as the media were hyping it as Mo’s VS Kipchoge a “race for revenge” (following Mo’s 2018 defeat) this film burst that ridiculous bubble.

This misjudged, hyperbolic approach flowed into our drive to get non-runner Londoners to swipe up and sign up for the Hackney 5k (part of the Hackney Festival of Fitness). Various London athletes and influencers were the target of challenges from a pumped-up Michael Dappah. They pushed back with their own more relatable motivation to run.
