History comes naturally to French footballer Kylian Mbappé.
The forward is the youngest-ever to score a goal for AS Monaco, the youngest-ever scorer in a European club semi-final, and the youngest to be nominated for football’s greatest individual prize, among other honors. And yet before the 2018 World Cup, critics questioned his readiness for this stage, doubting everything from his ability to handle the pressure, to whether he was ready for the number 10 jersey.
But one man believed more than anyone else in his readiness.
And boy was he right.
